Rules

14 rules, the same for everyone. If something isn't covered here, ask in the Discord before you build.

48 hours

1 or 2 people

18+, living in India
AI tools
Allowed

Who can enter

  1. You’re 18 or older and live in India.

  2. Teams of 1 or 2. Each person registers separately and names their teammate when submitting.

  3. One team per person.

Building

  1. Start after the brief unlocks (Fri 20 Nov, 19:00 IST). Your Git commit history must show that. Planning in your head is fine.

  2. AI tools, libraries, templates and free APIs are all allowed. Say in your README what you used.

  3. Your work stays yours. Sub48 claims no rights to your code or idea.

Submitting

  1. Before Sun 22 Nov, 19:00 IST: a public GitHub repo and a demo video of 2 minutes or less, uploaded to Google Drive with link sharing set to “Anyone with the link”.

  2. One submission per team. You can resubmit before the deadline; the last one counts.

  3. No late entries, for anyone.

Judging and prizes

  1. Every entry is scored on the published rubric: Works 35, Solves the brief 25, UI / UX 20, Demo and clarity 20.

  2. Results are out by Thu 26 Nov. They name the winner and runner-up with their scores. Other teams’ scores are not published.

  3. Prizes are sent by Sat 28 Nov. Google Play codes are emailed privately to the winners.

  4. Certificates: everyone with a valid entry gets a Certificate of Completion by email within 2 days of the deadline (by Tue 24 Nov). The winner and runner-up get theirs with the results. Each one has its own verify link and QR code.

  5. Breaking a rule (copied work, code written before the brief, a fake demo) means the entry isn’t judged.

How we score

Every entry gets the same four scores, out of 100. Only the winner's and runner-up's scores are published.
